I clearly remember I was in grade ten when I got my first novel. It was Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels. It probably wasn’t the best choice for a first-time reader as the book failed to interest me at first. However, the more I read, the more interesting it felt. I was now officially a reader.
