BOOKS AMEYA

Drops of Rain is a short poem

I was wandering to unwind

From the chaos of life

Finding reasons to smile.

But everything changed

When I met a little girl dancing under a tree

Smiling carefree

Her face was beaming with glee

As I stood there admiring her.

She walked up to me

And held my finger

I asked her what made her this happy.

She took me to the midst of a flower bed

Colored in blue, pink and red.

I felt calm, loved and warm.

She pointed at the sky, and said ‘Look, it’s about to rain’

And I found my reason to smile again.
