It’s almost time
The water will begin to flow
It’s not a giant wave
But then I feel so low.
There’s darkness everywhere
I see no light
There is only your eyes’ glow
A faraway glitter in the night.
The tide hasn’t yet started
But even the gentle waves pull
I’m being drifted away
Like a soft ball of wool.
Don’t join me now
Even if the waves are gentle and low
They have power in them
They will drown you if you do so.
There’s darkness everywhere
Only your distant eyes’ glow
The gentle waves have taken me
For I feel so low.
…now that you’re here
