BOOKS AMEYA

Grief sad poem on Ameya

In the midst of grief

The heart refuses to live

There seems to be nothing beyond

Except absolute imprisonment.

Life becomes a vast stretch

With complete emptiness

No flowers on the road to the future, only fear

We only repent deeds done prior.

The heart, soul, and mind

Find sorrow to no end

Misery, terror, and fear come flooding back

The path to the future finds no bend.

‘But life isn’t like that,’

Some divine force says,

‘This is not the only road –

There are many ways.’

Realization and decision materialize

Courage produces immense gain

Pleasure, laughter, and expectations dawn

As life becomes bearable once again.
